Kenny Neal is a Grammy-nominated blues guitarist, singer, and harmonica player, widely recognized as a leading force in modern swamp blues. Born in New Orleans in 1957 and raised in Baton Rouge, Neal carries on the legacy of his father, bluesman Raful Neal, while adding his own fresh take to the Louisiana blues tradition. He began performing at 13, and by 17 was touring with Buddy Guy. His breakout album, Big News from Baton Rouge!!, was released by Alligator Records in 1988, launching a prolific career.
