Picture the hypnotic rhythms of Future Beats, Afro House, Amapiano, Baile Funk and Soulful House, now layered with soul-stirring live brass, weaving through every track like liquid gold.
From 7 PM, Jay Phelps takes full control of the decks, blurring the line between DJ and live performance. A virtuoso with a horn and a master selector behind the booth, he’s played alongside legends like Wizkid, Amy Winehouse and Wynton Marsalis - now, he’s bringing that same energy to London’s midweek scene. Lush brass lines swirl through deep bass grooves, melodies dance over pulsating rhythms and just when you think you know where the night is going, Jay flips the script with a live riff that changes everything.
Expect Jay’s fresh take on crowd-faourites like “Soweto”, “Jerusalema” and “Vula Vula”, all infused with his unmistakable brass stylings.
